Nice words, but only that. If any Indian politican has decided to show courage, he is instantly shot down by the pseudo liberal Media
Advani talked of hot pursuit to meet derision of the chattering classes. Thackrey's demand of breaking all contacts with Pakistan was dismissed as a half mad ranting of an even madder person.
The likes of this columnist will be the first to cry 'alienation', 'sidelined', 'oppression' and many more such superlatives, once the police nabs even one culprit. The media outrage over the arrest of Geelani of the Parliament Attack fame or the encounter death of Isharat Jahan of Mumbra is simply too vivid to forget
We simply have too many columnists and opinion makers who make their living out of lighting candles at the Wagah Border, denouncing their Indian citizenship, crying 'State sponsored progoms' and defending Maoists, terrorists, in fact anyone indulging in Anti National Activities.
But at least all this shows that we indeed are a pluralistic society, welcoming and accepting our worst enemies. Perhaps the Human Rights Industry will some day wake up to the fact that ordinary people, who are not 'terrorists' have rights too
