In this time of need, I stand by you. I was a resident doctor at Sion Hospital when the first blasts in Ghatkopar happened. It is infuriating to see the same being repeated almost every year.
At this time of crisis and profound sadness, let us reflect that why this continues to happen in Mumbai, why are trains going to particular areas targeted, why do the names of the suspects sound similar year afer year and why do we continue to appease and tolerate people who live amongst us but don't hesitate to harm us at the first opportunity ?
Unfortunately, Indians will be sad for a day or two ( at least a mojority of them would be),Mumbai will limp back to normal and everything will be the same again. This is not "tolerance" of a great civilization but the "escapism" of a coward nation.
