Basically disinvestment is backdoor privatization as in case of BHEL earlier disinvestment competitors and FII acquired major disinvested shares and nominated 2 directors too.The concern by workers and thus its serious cognizance by DMK supremo is most fair and DMK deserves congratulations. It is most serious thst govt is without policies for Public sector which has played vital role in our economic development and even due to such vital role only our private sector grew by massive 50 times before globalization Era.It emplys over 20 lac employees and its share in industrial GDp is 25 % and it pays huge revenue ang dividend to exchequer. Unfortunately it is neglected to ensure privatization at throw away prices.There is vast surpluse in several PSUs . but there is no will to use it in integrated inter and intra PSUs.Instead they are hurriedly sold to private sector which has already above 1 lac NPA. and such family businesses can not take excessive loads.Like west Bengal only unviable units be sold after rehabilitation of workers as per Common Minimum Programme and if such economist P. M. breaks such CMP every now and then,likes of Karunaji need to cross their fingrrs .
