We are aghast at the way a highly acclaimed cardiac surgeon like Dr. Venugopal, who has served AIIMS for over 47 years, with total dedication, has been publicly humiliated. This is brazen display of caste politics in front of a PM who is clearly helpless. He should now show his per sonal integrity and sack his Health Minister to show he openly cares more for public values and sentiments than for sticking to his chair. The last time, Railways Minister Hanumathiah openly humiliated his then Railway Board Chairman, Ms. Gandhi quietly dropped him at the next cabinet reshuffle, by way of retribution.
If the PM does not drop him, I am sure the people of India will definitely "drop" him at the next elections. Probably, they will drop the ineffective PM also.
