Women can very well enter in other Ayyappa temples in kerala itself, but there is a custom of taking 41 days "vruthu" before entering sabarimala, that is the custom of the temple!. So as per women physical structure because of womens Menstrual Cycle, which happens between the age of 10 and 55 they are unable to take that 41 days continues.. in Kerala its a custom that no women will enter temples at Menstrual periods. So women cant enter. So Jayamala, Please take back your word if you did that un-knowingly.
