In TN the politicians would do anything to malign Brahmins. They have given OBC certificates to Pillais, Mudaliars, Chettiars, Gounders, and other upper castes when historically this group has gained before the early 20th century and also in the past 100 years. They are the creamy layer who have benefited always. In the earlier centuries these upper castes suppressed the lower castes and now in the modern times under the aegis of DMK approved caste system also they have gained the most. Now these groups are suppressing the Tamiz Brahmins and the dalits. This creamy layer has to be removed in order for the most needy to have access to all the benefits. All those Tamiz nationalists who were quick to criticize this article and the Tamiz Brahmins I want to ask you all to dig the creamy layer. Tamil Brahmins are not your enemy it is the creamy layer beneficiaries which are true enemies of the most backward class in TN. Tamil Brahmins are a spent force you are targeting a dead horse.
