VP Singh's accomplishments: turning a blind eye while Lalu's goonda raj shifted into high gear in Bihar. Retreating from Zia-ul-Haq with tail between his legs, after massing troops on the border with Pakistan because of terror attacks. VP Singh isn't relevant anymore, he's in the political wilderness.
