i am having a field day reading all the anti-congress rhetoric on these pages. Naresh here, for instance, displays the underlying hypocrisy in the anti-congress brigade that clings like lint to the fabric of a cardigan.
rahul gandhi may have lived richly all his life. agreed. but consider this: he lost his father as a young boy to politics he did not understand. tried to grow up normal under the media glare, which incidently i do not expect you to empathize with because you probably grew up in some gully adjacent to filthy waters -- and never once made an attempt to get out. finally, rahul could have chosen to do virtually ANYTHING, but he returned to politics, knowing the dangers to his and his family's life.
pause and think. worth admiring, in my opinion. lets then, consider his politics. the politics of the congress. it stunk until the liberalization of the economy. it stunk while in opposition as the BJP led the country into a communal boiling pan, and under Dr. Singh, its unfolding in the right direction -- so far so good.
