Congress need people who can perform, not the glamour or unexperienced hands. He may be able to create an impact for congress provided he is working with common folks and think in their terms, views etc.. If his managers are going to keep him as a man from so called " royal" then Rahul is going to be a wrong answer for congress.Also his PR should be managed very well without any hype.
why not Congress take their answers from Sciendia, dutt etc. They are much competent in terms of everything. Rahul does not have any proven record. Not even an interview that can be quoted somewhere...
