newspapers social responsibilty
by praksh mehendale on Jan 22, 2006 02:40 AM

Nowadays many newspapers are indulged in yellow journalism and try unhealthy and unethical tactices and print any information without confirming or asertaining the facts behind the contents and this leads to misguiding the readers. To escape from the responsibilities many phrases like it is believed or it is learnt or from the sourses etc are used. If any news printed becomes incorrect or misguiding then therer should be some authority to decide whether this was printed inadvertantly or otherwise. and if the newspaper editor concerned should made answerable and punishable whithout the afeected person or institution going to the law of courts. In the matters of big scandles reporting the punishment should be notable and must lead the persons responsible for the act to great finantial losses.
