MP Mr. Jay Panda is partially right about the educational opportunities in India. While the state government and private organizations have helped in bringing up the educational opportunities of Orissa. the central government has neglected Orissa with respect to central institutes. Orissa has no IIT, IISc, IIN, central university, Institute of National importance, etc,; and recently a proposed National Institute of Sciences by the earlier government has been ignored by the new government.
