Newspapers going extinct? No way !

I think we are all missing a very important fact here, the editor of Guardian represents a very myopic view which extends only from america to europe. He is forgetting there are large parts of the globe which are still do not have phone access let alone internet access. Perhaps he has not met people like me , who collect newspapers articles as a hobby. Newspapers are tangible pieces of information in this virtual world. Do not forget they are pieces of historic relevance, something which we can refer to whenever we want and there is no fear of a loss of data ! What will happen to the information if we have a large scale computer network breakdown or computer crashes ? Information is vital in today\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s world it will be very risky to put it all online .Has no one heard of cyber terrorism ? Government websites being hacked? How can we assure the same amount of security to online media when we are so prone to hacking and deadly viruses?
We talk of blogs, but how many of us are regular readers of other peoples blogs unless ofcourse, they are being written by known personalities? These are just some of the question swhich pop up into my mind when i think of this issue.
