The Congress-AIPJD combine will have to wait for some 3 years for itself to prove in the coming assembly elections. The Dharam Singh Government has fallen prey to the blackmailing politics done by the JD(S) under HD Devegowda. It is better that the Congress Government will fall, because the development has come to a standstill in Karnataka.
Because Dharamsingh was too soft to Devegowda and becaue of that the administration was not strong and corruption prevailed everywhere
Now also the JD(S) is confusing people by saying that son has split the party without Mr. Devegowda's knowledge. There is no JD(S) without Devegowda, and it is notlike the NTR-Chandrabbau Naidu episode in AP few years back. At that time NTR lost support from legislators and Naidu used it for his gain.
Actually this operation by Mr. Kumaraswamy has all the blessings from Mr.Devegowda himself, this was a short cut to make (a very junior leader like Kumaraswamy )him the CM of Karnataka to overcome the opposition from senior JD(S) leaders...And father and son are confusing people by giving contradictory statments. Gowda doesn't want to shed the Secular Image and also doesn't want to lose Minority votes
