Congress is much stronger than BJP in Karnataka.Even though BJP did well in 2004 Elections,the party's performance was very miserable in all subsequent elections and people almost lost faith in the organisational skills of party.I think the developments will improve the party and its mass base.BJP couldn't even win a single District panchayat and the party cadre was very much demoralised.
