Sriranthi Rajapakse's visit to Guruvayoor
by K. Mallick on Jan 17, 2006 03:56 PM

It is a great pity that the devotion of a devotee to her Lord is denied by mere mortals. If we in India believe the philosophy of 'Ahamsmi' and that every human being is God, where does the religion play a role. Revered Chennas Ramana Namboodiripad will, in fact, commit a grave crime by denying a devotee to say her prayers. 'The Lord doesn't stay in the wood, in the stone, nor in the earthen idol, but in the feelings of the devotees ....' is our age-old concept. Let madam Srisanthi feel happy and peaceful after her holy darsan of Lord Krishna at Guruvayoor. If the Lord didn't deny her His sacred darsan, who on earth can deny her His darsan !!!
Let not the great Indian tradition and Hindu philosophy be caged by a few individuals any more.
