About the Indian worldview
by Dr.Grama Seetharam on Jan 10, 2006 06:01 AM

As regards the article by Shri.K.Subrahmanium I would like to point out that basically we hindus do not understand the role of force in international relations unlike say the chinese. That is the reason why we are taken to the cleaners by tin pot countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh. It may also be true that historically hindus have never had the balls to use devastating force against invaders from Central Asia and Europe. We are a very weak people, physically and spiritually and lack the will to power. Just witness how tin pot Bangladesh is pushing millions of muslim illegals into India and we seem to be unable to do anything about it. Shsi. Subrahmanium has done a yeoman service over the past few decades by trying to inculcate a sense of rationality into wolly headed impractical thinking by the Indian elite.
