Lesson from Heart Attack
by Vijay Singh Mahendra on Jan 05, 2006 10:06 PM

If you are sesitive, any ailment will teach you something or the other if you grab it. I had an attack as far back Sept 1988 and at that time I used to smoke about 40 cigarettes a day. But after that fateful night I have not touched a cigarette. This may be because of the fear of death or may be my love for life. I have gradually become a lover of nature and look after about 200 plants in my house which I never did before the attack. I got it from my daughter who is a natural nature lover. After a mild attack once again in 1992, I also stopped taking liqour and havenot touched it since then. I now feel that this style of living is far far better than the style I followed before the attack.
