Buddhists ok, other faiths no
by chelapila santakar on Jan 04, 2006 06:35 PM

This article reminds me the similar practices in the prime temple of our state, the temple of Lord Jagannath in Puri of Orissa. hindu way of life advocates the TRUTH that the Divine is omnipresent. HE is there in me, you, all living and non living organism and objects. temples, mosques, Churches are the seats of peace where one can sit peacefully to concentrate on HIS presence in his own body, mind and life. He then tries to find HIS presence in each and every object. But it is surprising to find that the very people having faith on Universalisation of the Divine are busy on selecting people in terms of faith to restrict their entry into the temples. They should however remember that by restricting Devotees into the temple they are at loss, as they could have recieved some donations into the temple's account and some into their personal account.Being a Hindu myself I should not make them realise again and again that Religionwise People may be Different. But Spiritually all are one . Let's hope better sense prevails.
