Ayyappa Temple
by Roshan on Jan 04, 2006 05:04 PM

I am a Keralite Hindu who has visited the Guruyavoor temple many times. I believe that the temple rule not to allow other faiths to attend is sheer nonsense and good for nothing. Temple is not a temple if other faiths cannot visit or pray. I thing we are still living in British Raj...where Dogs and Indians were not allowed in many places. Here too devotees have to hide and not let the stupid temple management know and pray and go...I hope these guys will never improve...

First of all you have to get dress like a fancy dress to go inside Guruyaur temple..Pants are not allowed...I would rather prefer to visit Temple at Parshnikadha Muttappan where people from all caste, creed and religion are allowed and you dont have to pay money to visit some stupid temple.

I hope rediff will post my frank opinion on the website: www.rediff.com
