Gujrat ? Godhra?
by rite on on Apr 15, 2006 06:33 AM

It is true we really do need to look into the culprits of the Godhra incident, it will give a better and stronger proof to condemn the senseless violence of that took place in Gujrat.
Many people are confused or something as to why Gujrat massacre has become such a big thing, I think the answer is in the word "massacre", Godhra was simply horrible but more follow up on Gujrat issue clearly shows that Gujrat was 100 times worse. Evidence to the previous statement are the alienated communities of Gujrat today and the affect it has had on the minds of the kids.
But knowing Indian Politics none of the cases will be investigated truly until the public strongly demands it. However these issues will be brought up again in the next election year, our politicians are amazing at dividing up neighbors for the sake of power they definitely have learnt much from colonizers of India before independence.
Open mindedness and neutrality is definetely demanded by all at this point but again it should not be shady and hidden under our own biases, because that will not take us anywhere.
Bottom line: the color of blood and the pain of loosing a loved one does not vary from people to people.
