Who is this guy talking all this bullshit? if he cant given up chicken, why preach others who are trying to be safe... He himself says about the cleanliness in way they prepare chicken. and how is he sure that the chicken is boiled over 70 degrees in the place where he ___? If you wanna educate people, do it properly. you first know all the facts pls. bird flu affect birds and spreads rapidly via birds saliva and their excretion. When humans come in contact with it, they also get affected with it. and it spreads from person to person very easily... adn very easily in cold conditions... An affected bird's blood is highly potential to spread the virus to humans.. so, when they clean chicken(it at all) in hotels, who knows they clean it properly...
So, its better to stay away from those poor little chicks until there is news that we are safe from the authorities. Claiming that this is a huge loss to the poultry and all is sheer nonsense. just for the reason that the poultry owners should make money, is it alright for millions of citizens to loose their life???? Eet sensibly. Look at better alternatives atleast like fish (if you are a desperate non veggie)...
