Sad politics
by Praveen on Feb 23, 2006 12:21 PM

This event, along with the other one relating to the declaration of the same amount for killing the Danish cartoonist who made the cartoons of Prophet Mohammed just goes on to hoghlight the really sad state of the politics being played out in our country. People keep advising me to go abraod to make better use of my intellect, but i've always believed our country is a great place to stay in, with the kind of freedom allowed here for it's citizens, as well as foreigners. I've always believed this is one of the main ideals a country which wants to develop should follow. But these incidents really have got me thinking if I'm wrong, is our country really worth it? Are our people so "jobless" now that they've to cook up such controversies to keep themselves busy?

A "patriot"(But don't know for howmuch longer)
