Rs. 51 Cr. for killing......
by K.R. Sreenath on Feb 23, 2006 11:41 AM

Sir,

I understand the sentiments of the Hindus when their God and daity is disrespected by people from other religion. But saying "cut off the hand of the painter" " kill the painter" all these utterances are not supported by the philosophy of Hinduism. Hinduism is a philosophy and not what these social policing people think. Hinduism is the most accommodative one which teaches the ways of live and how to respect each and love the human beings, to tell the truth and not hurt others etc., Why these people are crying for blood. I think our Hinduism is the only religion which is tolerant. We do not as true hindus object for small matters which the others take serious view of. Take example of Wine shops named after our Gods name Like Venkateshwara Wine Shop, Sai Fast Food Centre, Ganesh Beedi . There are many such instances where we use the names. We do not feel that our God is hurt and or disrespected.

Please learn to be a Hindu in your heart and soul and not show that you are a Hindu. I am proud to be a Hindu because I believe that Hinduism is the best and most civilised religion on the earth.
