For the trillions of taxpayers monies spent to date, not a single product of any value has emerged from this vast 'indeginous' defence production facilities. Imagine that they still cannot even produce a simple field gun. The Arjuna tank is as uselesss a white elephant as the LCA. Even the Brahmos are possible simply because the Russians have put in all the major systems. If private corporations had been allowed in, like in the US, India would have already been self-sufficeint in defense productions. As is stands, babus posing as scintists are in charge, who have no stake in the enterprise, and collect their pay and perks whether they produce or not.
