It is not correct to blame any institution but we as a society have to be blamed, because we have lost sensitivity. Neither the police, nor the judiciary and even the forensic scientists can be of help if fellow human beings turn hostile. Jessica's colleagues from her fashion world have turned hostile. Witness protection schemes are not of help since the country cannot take the burden and cannot establish the required infrastructure. As it is we are spending crores of rupees every year trying to protect our politicians. It is we, the human beings that need to introspect ourselves and be brave enough to tell what we have seen. So why this blame game. Many Jessica type cases have seen the similar fate. Now the game goes on with the prosecution appealing to the higher courts and so on. The media have a lot on their hand after killing several such cases with their uncalled for comments and hype. Let the Police do their job. If anybody has the guts then let him be brave enough to rise and tell the facts. Till then everyone of us will keep talking.
