Shariat court's death decree
by Anoop on Feb 20, 2006 08:00 PM

I highly criticize this approach adopted by Indian muslims. At large muslim popuation still want to live in 700AD. I can't understand if there can be any reason to kill a person in the name of religion. In past, 4-5 hundred years ago, these kind of practices had been seen in other religion too including Hinuism & Chrisitianity but at least for now this is considered as crime. But in muslim world still these 'fatwa' practices are common. I wish God could give these pppl eyes to see life beyond blind faith. The role of Indian Govt & specially UP Govt. seems very hazy ...they don't want to touch these selfish clerics in sake of muslim vote bank. If these practice reamin allowed the day is not far when these clerics will openly bid for life of common ppl. And ppl in need of money would start to commit crime. I feel a person who force somebody to commit crime is bigger criminal than anybody as he wants his hands remain clean & other to commit crimes for them.I appeal muslim young ppl plz discourage these practices so that we and our children would live peacefully not for religion but for life.
