DR.Perkovich has virtually said in plain words that india is unequal and that it is upto india to "take it or leave it" . his tone and language is really humiliating . i don't think signing the deal in the present form will do any good. in fact it is certain to harm india's interest in the long run.already u.s.and china seem to have ganged up in playing 'pakistan' card as evident from the goings on of musharaff's visit to china. the very fact that both are indulgent to pakistan who has the cheek to ask for treatment at par with india after all that clandestine proliferation, byitself puts a question mark on u.s. intentions. i think, Parliament alone should take a final decision on the matter as our PMO appears to be heavily leaning towards u.s. and i don't know why!it will be really sad to see the prospects of undoing of all that Nehru and the country stood for all these years.
