It seems that the whole foreign policy establishment of India has been messed up into Pro or anti-US warring factions. The sanity, however, can be achieved by becoming pro-India. Our non-alignment was tilted towards Russia, certainly with the insinuations from the US. As a-matter-of-factly we stood by the cardinal principles that NAM cherished for except aberrations like Soviet aggression in Afghanistan. Nehru was a dreamer, so as the Indians but dream can be fulfilled with wise exercise of merit and hard work. In the complex dynamics of an emerging multi-polar global scenario India needs to contemplate and act sensibly for generations to come. Our success will be measured by the happiness of the posterity, our genetic investment. The menace of terrorism, triumph of democracy over monolithism, increasing strength of brain over muscle in economy have generated immense possibilities before India, the INTELLIGENT NATION as put forward by one of my British friend.
