guess u took One Night @ A Call Centre a bit too personally .. look at the larger picture - u r an AVP today ..
every call centre agent faces multiple pressure points - odd work timings, doing the same repetitive job, little job satisfaction, 'split' personality (dealing with foreign customers often means a different identity), strict daily targets, cultural clash and career growth can drive an individual crazy..
ONCC doesnt talk abt an isolated situation, it talks about the life of hundreds of thousands of BPO workers in general ..
a lot of young BPO workers today r losing control over their lives and straying into drugs, crime, unfettered promiscuity, severe suicidal tendencies and eventual depression - u r from the industry, don't u agree to these facts ???? ..
fortunately, a lot of BPO companies have now realized the side-effects of excess stress and the so-called plush lifestyles and r taking corrective measures to make their offices a better place to work .. and the way our economy's growing, perhaps we will have more MNCs investing in the country by outsourcing their back office operations ..
ONCC is a work of fiction that needs to be tasted, not consumed .. when u want to sell a product, u need to package it well .. i think that's exactly what chetan has done and has done it pretty well ..
so then dude, take a chill pill! sit back and enjoy ONCC .. it's definitely worth a praise! ..
