French Toxic Waste
by view all on Feb 08, 2006 02:34 PM

France has no right to get the toxic ship to Alang in first place - getting it here is a blatant violation of Basel convention. Such absolute irresponsible behaviour from a developed (??) country should be punishable.
Rather than taking back the toxic waste, France should be taking back the doomed ship itself for de-toxification.
Girard's argument that France shall take back the waste is not at all trustworthy! Because if such is the case, the ship should not have come to India in its current state at all.
WAKE UP, ALL ENVIRONMENTALISTS AND ALL INDIANS!!
