Dear Rajeev Srinivasan, I\'ve read your article on Rediff entitled Endemic Discrimination against Hindus. You blamed that Christianity is all about apartheid, slavery, the Jewish Holocaust, and the burning of women as witches. You are right in pointing out that Christians were guilty of apartheid and slavery, but Christian ministers like Martin Luther King Jr. fought against such evils with Christian ideals and made slavery and discrimination history. Beside, there is nothing in the Bible that supports slavery and segregation. But in Hinduism there are laws to segregate people, for example Manu Smruti. The law of chathurvarna and the doctrine of karma are inherently discriminatory and even to this day dalits are not allowed to Hindu temples in many areas of India, while black people could enter into any Christian church in the United States. Pandit Ramabai, a born Hindu converted to Christianity after contrasting Hinduism\'s treatment of women with the compassion of Christ towards women, which she read about in John chapter 4. You also wrote that Christianity was about burning women as witches. The total number of women burnt in Salem Witch trials was only 19, in contrast to th
