Mother, I want to be a priest
by Educated Hindu on Feb 07, 2006 08:23 AM

When the son asked the above question, Mother says

Son; You can't, because you are not good enough. God thinks you are untouchable, impure, and even if you memorize all the chants you can never be. it's their job, they are born to do it

But mother in kerala, Ayyapa is so named in Sabarimala because he is Ayyan's-Appan (ayyan means untouchable) and sabari under whose name sabarimala is named is also a so called dalit. So why these descrimination.

Mother: Be quiet son. Let's just live! not question the hypocracy
