Mamata didi's fast has become a sort of farce now. The whole issue now has moved from the farmers to the health of didi who is hell bent on gaining political mileage by fasting rather than coming to the table for discussion. Every day she comes up with some new prank - one day its "boycotting Tata products", another day taking out a rally without shirts, another day calling a 2 days bandh..she has now seen that public support is not with her and the whole issue has just limited itself to Dharmatal. What the public doesnt understand is why Trinamul is not coming to the table for discussion ? The law says that once the land has been acquired it cannot be returned. Trinamul could have done a lot for the farmers had they come to table for discussion regarding compensation. But didi chose to gain political mileage and now she is caught in a web where she cannot come out with her dignity intact. Dont blame the media. We have all see how Didi mistreated female correspondents of local TV channels. Lets face it..she is desparate to get out of the web and looking for facing saving tactics. the quicker she does the better for publc who is being harrassed everyday in Dharmatala by her bandhs
