we should recognise the fact that merit is not the monopoly of any particular community.people should be judged by their calibre irrespective of their caste, which is still an indication of parochial outlook of indian society. An egalitarian social order is possible only when each one gets equal opportunity for his/her development which should be democratic in nature.
