I do not agree with you in saying that the article was in bad taste.It in no way ignites the feeling of hatred towards our neighbour but just reminds us of the great victory of our country 35 years back.We should be proud of it..we helped in the formation of a new nation-Bangladesh.It was great that even at that time Mrs Gandhi did not bow down to US pressures and did what was the best for us.Regarding Pakistan everyone knows that it cannot be trusted.We want to be friendly with them but that does not mean that we should reduce our forces just to show we are friendly and in the end what if they thrust another dagger in our heart like Kargil. This article is very good and reminds us of the sacrifices of thousands of our soldiers and will motivate the new generation. Jai Hind
