When you travel with kids, the first and foremost thing is to take extra care of your travel plan. That too when a trip of that magnitude you better plan MUCH better.
I agree with the rude behaviour of the officials, you have to remember they have a job to do. Thats their job to be rude and strict, to cut down unwanted trouble.
Blame YOURSELF for failing to produce the REQUIRE documets, blame YOURSELF for not planning well, dont blame AirFrance for not checking the kids visas, blame YOUR self first for all the trouble caused to your kids, all YOU DID IT.
You blame the officials for doing their job? you played your KIDS card several times, and that race card... YOU BE RIGHT BEFORE YOU BLAME OTHERS.
