I think what the immigration officers did was perfect. just because you are an Indian does not make ur children a citizens of India, and like at any other place you will have to have a valid visa with you when you try to enter india or have an indian passport? The immigration officers at other countries did not bother asking about the kids visas is cos you are not gonna stay in their contry, but dont take India for granted. You have to follow the rules.
