This is an open and shut case, the Visa Officer was RIGHT and the parents should have known better. Rules are rules, there is no point in crying now, you should have been better prepared before commensing the journey. How stupid, dont you yourself know that your kids are US Citizens and they need a Visa prior to entrying India. NO American Visa officer would have allowed anyone to enter US soil without a Visa. Shame on the parents how blaming their mistakes on a Visa officer who was only doing his job.
