What officials did was totally disgraceful.They are mean minded people who don't know how to welcome NRIs,let alone a foreigner.
I am sure this family could have bribed them easily.Perhaps they did not offer any money to Immigration guys and they denied them a visa.
I would like to ask Indian Government (Read one of the most corrupt Government in the world)that when so many Nepalis and Bangladeshis are pouring in India through open borders,why did they not let these NRIs to land?
I remember that when I got a job abroad,they were trying to prevent me from going there because I did not have ECNR stamped on my passport.When I went to the Immigration office at Man Singh Road,I was treated in the same disrespectful way.There I met a tout who said that he could get the stamp endorsed within a few seconds if I pay bribe to the officer who signed this stamp.I paid 2200 INR to this so called bloody officer and got my work done.
