Re: Mumbai immigration deports NRI children
by Rupali on Dec 22, 2006 12:12 AM

This is rather a funny story. I wonder, why rediff has given such a big article about this, and more surprisingly, the article seems to convey the message about the "poor" family and very cruel Indian immigration officer!

The couple is in Boston for 9 years & are IT professionals, and still they are doing such a big mistake. They should be happy that at least they were given some time for the documents to be faxed. What would they have done if it had been a country like US or UK?

Inspite of all the mistakes, they are making the issue out of this in the name of kids. Yeah, I really feel sad for the kids, that they got such parents. And, what do they mean by "feeling ashamed to call theirself Indians"? They should be banned forever to enter the country for making such statements.
