I am not sure whether people who is talking bad about this incident are aware, the airlines has the responsibility to verify the passengers visa validity before they board. If no such documents are present, they are responsible for the passengers to be taken back to the country of origin where they boarded. It is quiet possible that Air France flight was on its way back before the faxes could be sent. Any person in any country would be denied entry without proper immigration document or proof of birth (most cases passport). Instead of bashing the people enforcing the law, try and follow the law. No Indian citizen would be given a transit visa in any western countries.
