Outrageous !!! This can happen only in India. Whenever I travel to India I bump into officials who I feel are extremely rude and possibly envious of us, that we live abroad and make good money. This is their way of punishing us for being an NRI. We were ruled by white skins for 150 yrs and that attitude of sucking up to Gori chamdi still is very rampant. I would have possibly tried to offer some bribe, that was sure to do the trick. After all thats what these parasites working at the airports want. Free money.
