Are you really serious? or are you that much hurt by not being yourself in US, that you don't even have left with any common sense and compassion? It does not matter who is wrong or right here. It also does not matter if browns get any different treatment in US (No Actually they don't- but that is subjective experience). We are Indians, we have most ancient culture, and we are best. We should live up to those standards.
Also if green cards are dozen a dime, then go try to get yourself one and send me a few too. The only thing matters is that those kids had to suffer when there was a legal solution available to the situation. I am not even expecting anybody to bend the rules, but just give full benefit of laws and regulations to every human. and especially the to definite innocents - the children.
