Sure, the parents made a mistake of not bringing the visas. So if the situation was a little different that the parents lost the travel documents on the way do you think it should be treated the same way. Losing travel documents happen quite a lot. Leaving the race card aside, I think the best course of action should have been that the officers had given time to the family to get the documents faxed to them or they should have been able to find the children's detail in the computers. The attitude of the immigration oficers clearly show that they dont care to help. What is the hurry to deport them immediately, they could have kept the family in the airport until the next day (for the next air france flight). It's a shame that the airport officials and the air france officials didnt even attempt to show basic courtesy.
