They should've atleast given them Transit Visa, I had a similar prob in japan, I and my son are American citizens, my wife has Indian passport and we forgot to take Japanese Visa on our visit, we apologised but they were very courteous and gave us 2 day's transit, in the mean time we got our documents and everything ready, so I can't see why you cannot grant temp stay visas to your own citizens' children, I guess its just envy to NRI's that Indians have and this guy here is a strong example, " a dime a dozen" :) hah!, I'm sure this guy is craving for green card and has never got it, so comes all the envy . I've never had problems travelling anywhere in the world beacuse of my US passport but I'm on my nerves when I'm in India and unfortunately I was born in India.
