I am surprised at the ignorance and naivity of the parents. People who are criticising the immigration official should answer if the parents would even dare trying boarding US without a visa. It is not a white and brown issue. I am also staying out of India for many years but the law of the land has to respected. Such people take things for granted to suit their convenience. It was ridiculous that they asked Air France and considered their approval as Gospel - hmmm.
