You have to be responsible for your acts. You cannot expect that things would fall in place . You have been in the US for 9 yrs and still dont know how to have correct paper work, i am surprised how u got ur green card.But i am sorry you were doing paper work for the US Green Card so you must have been three times more careful. In this case its India ,apna des you can do anything.
