Consider this, How about you having green card traveling to India with your US citizen kids will take it granted that by paying bribe you can let your kids get in (offcourse all emotions attached to kids will play part in melting the immigration officials along with bribe). So Mr. so and so took this for granted and unfortunately met with some honest officer (Mr so and so must have shown him his style and money, i am sure he must have. I am sure a Law abiding officer must have done the same in any country.
As for as French man transit visa is concerned there should be an higher level enquiry in this matter as they mentioned as per present law India shall not offer Transit Visa. Putting skin color in question is just playing with the emotions of public and heating the debate.
So guys chill out and observe, i am being an NRI understand the pain but may be we should not blame Indian Immigration for all.
I feel sorry for innocent kids for getting suffered because of their parents. I am sure in US there will people who will be ready to file complaint against the parents for kids suffering.
