An american citizen getting to Immigration with lost documentation for him and Kids. Why should he be deported. It is his country. US immigration officials will go that extra mile to make sure he is all taken care of.
Now if an Indian/Other Nationality arrives, they tend to help but eventually that person is not his baby.
Look at what India gives. Two kids who have US Passports. Note that these kids could be potential Indian Citizens.At Age 18 when they decide which country citizenship they need and can switch their passports.
Now if you give those Kids this treatment how could you possibly even expect them to consider Indian Citizenship. They would see that between the two countries the country that gives its citizens self respect and esteem would be preferred.
What a tragic experience for a 7 yr old and 3 year old.
Unfortunately the problem is the Rest of the Indians think America is a land of Milk and Honey and therefore tend to see that people living there are better off than themselves. It is true to a limited extent.What you dont see is how difficult living in US is in terms of Having a secure Job, different climatic conditions etc..
