The controvercial US legislation will be.Bush-Manmohan agreement has been made subordinat to the Act passed by both Houses of the USA and signed by Bush himself The assurances given by Mukherji are in bad faith or in ignorance.The Act as it stands now is inimical to our interest if we accept Unless the Act totally reflects the spirit and the letter of the original agreement acceting the same will reduce India to a vassal state. The fear of the opposition if valid and the Minister has failed to address the same.
